5 day summer workshop
The content of this workshop is painting the figure and portrait from observation. Big Flesh focuses on physical, gestural processes, brushwork and refined chromatic movement within the representational rendering of the subject. To achieve these outcomes, Big Flesh looks towards large-scale canvases emphasising major fundamental shapes that establish relationships between form, texture and surface in painting the figure.
DATES: 10 – 14 January 2011
TIME: 9.30 am – 4 pm daily
COST: $410 includes sketch paper and some canvas boards.
